Black Friday is often the best time to shop around for deals on big releases from the past year, especially from brands like Hoka or Brooks, that tend to carry a higher price tag.

However, I know how exhausting it can be trying to find the best deals and do your own price comparison, so I've done it for you.

If you want a pair of this year's Hoka Clifton 10s, Dick's Sporting Goods currently has the best deal I've seen since their release, with the women's shoe down from $150 to $111.57.

Please note this is only in the wide fit shoes in the blue/white colorway, but there are plenty of sizes available and for nearly $40 off retail price, I thought it was worth highlighting this bargain.

We don't usually see prices drop this low until the next generation has been released.

I tend to find Hoka shoes quite narrow, and since developing a bunion, the wide fit choice is definitely my go-to for the extra toe room.

To find the deal, navigate to the blue/ white colorway, shown left, and click on the 'wide' option. I tested the Clifton 10 earlier this year and it quickly became my favorite Hoka shoe of all time, supplanting the Bondi 8 in my guide to the best walking shoes.

I test all the shoes in my guide as walking shoes, but the Clifton is a great choice for runners too, particularly on hard surfaces like the road.

The plush cushioning and bouncy sole make it a comfortable choice for distance runners, and it is the go-to choice for my mom, who, at 65, prioritizes comfort over everything else in a running shoe.

I like them for walking too, and have racked up some long-distance rambles without feeling the impact on my feet after.
