Why get the Fitbit Charge 4?
As mentioned above, the Fitbit Charge 4 may not be the feature-stuffed smartwatch that is the Fitbit Sense. But at this price, the Charge 4 is undoubtedly better value.
With full access to Fitbit's suite of features, the watch boasts 24/7 heart rate, calorie counting and sleep tracking functionalities, built-in GPS, a swim-proof exterior and a sleek, slender design. You can get notifications from your phone, and control your music via Spotify from your wrist.
With Fitbit's new Active Zone Minutes function, you can set target heart rate "zones" to ensure you're always training for the right goal. In addition to over 20 different modes of exercise tracking, you'll also have 90 days of Fitbit Premium access thrown in absolutely free to sweeten the deal.
Fitbit Charge 4: Cheaper and more expensive options
If you'd rather a full-blown smartwatch than a fitness tracker, the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 launched this year, which allow you to download third-party apps and call others via your wrist. They are excellent devices, but at double and sometimes triple the price of this Charge 4 deal, they're not yet old enough to see significant price cuts.
After a more paired-down band? The Fitbit Inspire 2 and Inspire HR offer a more limited range of features and a simpler design than the Charge 4, with a smaller screen allowing the accompanying Fitbit app to do most of the talking.
However, at around $89.99, you're better off snapping up this great deal on the Charge 4, which is only $10 more.
