As a Health Editor, it's my job to test and review a load of health and fitness products. Whether it's protein snacks to keep me fuelled between meals, or the perfect sports bra to keep me supported during a workout, I will only recommend products that I believe are worth buying.
And right now, many of my favorite health and wellness products are discounted for Amazon Prime Day. You can get a 12-pack of Misfits Vegan Protein Bars (hands down, the best I've tasted) for $28.80 at Amazon, saving you $9.60. Vega's Protein Made Simple is also $10.11 at Amazon - 38% off the usual retail price. I stir a scoop of this into my oatmeal most mornings, and it features in our best protein powder for women list too.
As a vegetarian, I also know how important it is to make sure you're getting all the nutrients your body needs to keep feeling well. From the best fish oil supplements to boost omega-3 levels to the best B12 supplement, dietary supplements can help to fill any nutritional shortfalls in our diet. Plus, the good news is there are lots of Prime Day supplement deals to be had - including products I swear by.
So read on for a selection of the best prime day deals on health products, tried and tested by this Health Editor. Amazon Prime Day is only running today and tomorrow, so don't miss out on these fantastic offers.

Amazon Prime Day protein powder deals
Vega Protein Made Simple Dark Chocolate | Was $16.99, now $10.11 at Amazon
With this protein powder, you know you're not getting any nasties or additives because it contains just five ingredients. Packing in 15g of protein per serving, it has a deliciously chocolatey taste and mixes really well into my morning bowl of oatmeal, helping to keep me full until lunch.
Dymatize ISO100 Hydrolyzed Protein Powder | Was $74.99, now $54.99 at Amazon
For those with a slightly larger budget, you can save 27% ($20) on my top-rated whey protein powder. The powder itself is quite fine, but it holds it's own mixed with water or milk. I love it stirred into oatmeal too. Plus, it packs an impressive 25g of protein per serving, including essential BCAAs.
Amazon Prime Day supplement deals
Vital Proteins Marine Collagen Peptides | Was $39.00, now $22.66 at Amazon
I've been using this collagen supplement for over a month and have noticed an improvement in the condition of my nails, as well as the glow of my skin. The collagen peptides are derived from wild-caught white fish, so it's suitable for pescatarians. Because it's a powder it can be easily mixed into your morning cup of coffee (I do this every day).
Garden of Life Algae Omega-3 Vegan DHA | Was $32.19, now $27.36 at Amazon
Garden of Life is one of my trusted supplements brands in terms of quality. Its plant-based vegan DHA softgels are easy to swallow and contain 500mg of DHA to support brain and eye health. Garden of Life products are all certified USDA organic, non-GMO and gluten-free too.
NOW Supplements Chewable Vitamin D3 1,000 IU | Was $11.99, now $8.56 at Amazon
My job requires me to spend lots of time indoors during daylight hours, so I take a vitamin D supplement daily to make sure I'm hitting my recommended intake of 600 IU. I love these chewable vitamin D3 tablets from Now supplements because they're super affordable, they taste good and one unit lasts 6 months. Bargain!
Ancient Nutrients Vitamin B12 | Was $29.95, now $25.46 at Amazon
Save 15% on one of Fit&Well's top-rated vitamin B12 supplements. These tasteless capsules contain 20 mcg of B12 (833% of your daily value) as well as a Traditional Chinese Method blend.
Amazon Prime Day protein bar deals
Misfits Vegan Protein Bar Variety Pack x12 | Was $32.00, now $22.40 at Amazon
I've taste tested a lot of protein bars, and these are by far the best I've tried. They're just the right size for a post-workout or afternoon snack, they're vegan-friendly and the taste is to die for. My favorite is the chocolate brownie, but I recommend trying the variety box (now 30% off for Prime Day) to find yours.
Quest Nutrition Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough | Was $29.99, now $20.99 at Amazon
If you're looking for a more substantial snack, Quest protein bars are slightly higher in calories, but provide 12g of dietary fiber to help support gut health. I love the chocolate chunks you get in the chocolate chip cookie dough flavor, and because the bars are fairly dense, they won't get squashed in your gym bag.
It's worth noting that when it comes to supplements, it's best to talk to your doctor before trying anything drastically new. We're all individual too, so the amounts of certain nutrients we need can vary. For example, if you have darker skin or spend a lot of time indoors, you may need more vitamin D than someone who works outside.
This being said, Amazon Prime Day 2022 is a great opportunity to invest in your health and wellbeing. A protein powder is a good addition to your diet if you're looking to gain lean muscle, lose weight, or simply just want to keep yourself fuller for longer. Protein bars work the same way, but are a much more convenient option for when you're on the go. I often pack a protein bar for the office, when I know I'll be getting home later.
