Nike shoes always have a place in my best walking shoe guide, because it’s one of the best (and oldest) brands out there. And for a Nike shoe to be in its 41st generation is something else, and a shoo-in for the title of best Nike shoe.

The last time I saw a reduction on the Pegasus 41 was in July, when it was down to $84. Now, when you add the code BFRIDAY at checkout, prices are as low as $74.23 on Nike's website.

The Nike Pegasus 41 is bouncy underfoot and well cushioned, making it a great choice for walking or running.

I wear my pair when I have a walk planned on asphalt or over hard ground, and my Dad wore his first-generation pair to run (and win) half marathons in his 20s.

They’re comfortable, have great energy return and if I could only describe them in one word, it would be “springy”.
